Our UK allies shared a post on twitter giving thanks and remembrance of those that served on DDay some 77 years ago. That is really nice of them. It was an amazing time to live.

Often times when I see posts like this, I tend to list all the services that we have then and now.

To the services we have I respect and honor; Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines

With much respect. D Day 77 years ago.

As General Eisenhower said, when Allied troops landed on Normandy’s beaches that June morning in 1944 the eyes of the world were upon them. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere marched with them. 77 years on, we thank and remember them. #DDay
