In the past few weeks, a lot of my mentees have wanted GUI interfaces to accomplish EKS and other cloud services instead of the CLI (command line interface). I can't argue with them.
In this day and age, we should be able to just drag and drop and attach items to build a cloud service and delivery platform. I remember the Cisco days and the config t CLI and when they added the GUI, I noticed so many that did not know the CLI. I was like, well, if it breaks the GUI won't show you the details, and now they do have that!
Let's get that on AWS and AZURE sooner than later, GUI design and production support of cloud services.
