I was in the middle of upgrading an enterprise router firmware configuration and re-configuring the security performance parameters and noticed, jumbo frame. I was like... it's been a while since I noticed that feature enable on or off, and I remember, my LAN WAN NAS days and yes, definitely ON.
So, I said, what the hell, it's Box Enterprise and these folks have 3TB plus up and down coming from 5 cities, why not test it on one site, one city.
All metrics on, past and present and future monitoring enabled. Let's see.
Talked to the head network administrator in Los Angeles and he was like, uhhhh.. why not. Let me know.
ps. we won't let Box know yet. because they might do something on the back-end to either help or hinder. Who knows.
