Semalt.com - annoying log entries

If you have Internet logs files you regularly scan, the ever annoying Semalt.com and other search engine optimization companies that bombard your websites is just annoying.

The logs look like this.

1.auto-seo-service.com / referral

2.resell-seo-services.com / referral

There are ways to block them and filter out their activity since they don't honor the robots.txt file to limit spider activities, but oh well, their are from Ukraine so who really knows or cares to go over them. Who would enforce any penalty against them anyhow.

Large mega-pops and DNS folks will eventually get them but in the meantime they will continue to try and bother US internet intellectual properties - anything to make a buck.

they have a beautiful website -- go see. give them a little or a lot of hell from me.
