The City of Reno is really starting to do some interesting things.
While the city council agenda is usually filled with business this and business that, donate here and there, do a proclamation or two, promote or thank some group or citizen, and thank some city employee, or note some trend that is catchy ......
These lime green bicycles -- just sitting around the downtown -- something is interesting with these bikes they are parking around the area... more to come...
The old homes on Center St, that need to move for the university's expansion plans -- trying to find a new place to relocate them seems to be a challenge, of course. UNR President Marc Johnson is at least trying I guess to be open for some time for historic minded folks to do something positive.
BTW, midtown cost of renting and leasing I guess is skyrocketing. Too much of a good thing, huh? Makes me cringe thinking about these development tourism idiots who only seek to profit from getting more people to come here. oh well, to hell in a hand basket we can send them. ;-) doh. tongue and cheek sarcasm.
