I have been using C, C++, C#, VB.Net, and SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for 20+ years, and COBOL and Fortran for too long. I have seen lots of variations of these languages come and go. Java in its purest form still is strong, and we must always be resilient to support legacy and existing applications and systems.
