Windows 10 NTFS permissions reset take ownership much needed

this is a crazy week of watching permissions on the Windows 10 platform going wrong, almost like the days of Windows Vista, and then again TRUSTED INSTALLER on a Windows update gone wrong.
here is are the administrative commands I use because the GUI version just halts after a few thousand iterations.
Take ownership (first)
takeown /r /f *
takeown /f {foldername} /r /a
takeown /f {foldername} /r /a /d Y
Reset Permissions using icacls (second)
icacls * /t /q /c /reset
