Solarwinds Orion impacted by hack vis-à-vis FireEye

Well, Solarwinds for decades has provided strong tools for your technology infrastructure. Well, like updates that get pushed and then found to be problematic, this one is a doozy. The Orion product solution was the target and success they were, hackers were in there for months.

Months? apparently so, for 2-3 months, hackers had access to US government and corporate entities entire backyard(s) until discovered and then the source of the threat was some "other" state nation. well, well, well. was it like 9/11? was it an inside job? who knows. who cares.

Here is the proverb I wish to repeat again to all the leaders and those that are and are not affected through their paycheck.

"It's not that you have not been hacked, you just don't know it yet."

"It's not a matter of if you will be hacked, its a matter of when."

oh yeah, one more proverb:

"you are only as safe as your last good backup."

For me, I know my information is out there everywhere. I just wish I had a poison pill that the Internet would swallow and just delete it all, forever, and keep repeating it, over and over. morbid? no. just a wish.

Here is the customer list, though incomplete, it tells you how widespread a tool can be used against you, me, and us.
