Bluehost DNS TTL are way too high at 4 hours

While help update and manage a blue host word press site, the DNS changes took no less than 4 hours and more because BLUE HOST DNS record TTLs minimum is 4 hours, unlike other hosting and domain registrars where TTL minimums can be 30 minutes (1800) and on average 1 hour (3600)
For me, the serial number and TTL is what triggers the changes and the chatter between DNS masters and slave and caching. Sad, should be like 30 minutes so you can make a change and by the time you are done one side of your new network configuration the primary side should be shifting away and off, and if you have to rotate back you can do so quickly without too much downtime and being in the dark.
