22nd Century.. the future outlook...

August 1, 2018

About a month ago, we, the royal I, started the outlook for the 22nd century. We are in the midst of the 21st century, looking back at the 20th century

Some quick questions to frame your thinking.

1. will you be alive to see it and experience it?

2. what have we learned and do we need to continue to focus on?

3. what have we learned and do we need to continue to focus on?

----------------

1. will you be alive to see it and experience it?

For me, #1, nope. that was easy to figure out. my check out year is 2062. What is yours?

2. what have we learned and do we need to continue to focus on?

For me, #2, personally, probably having the greatest relationships of my life with so many great and kind people.  Professionally, had a greatest experience ever at Microsoft Corporation. started there when 2500 employees existed and left when there were 32,000 employees all in a time span of 7 years. In my latter years, probably the inventing entrepreneurial experience and success that kept me happy.

3. what have we learned and do we need to continue to focus on?

For me, #3, I would focus on a continued positive global environment and some things that should exist everywhere (focus on what you want and the positive, and don't focus on the negative).

For example:

A) free and clean water and air everywhere,

B) free and healthy food everywhere,

C) free housing everywhere.

Maslow's kind of approach to let's get the first part right; food, water, shelter and then we can move on to self actualization. The pragmatic realist in me.

I read a letter from Albert Einstein once to President FDR about this new thing called nuclear energy. it was eloquent, understandable, and above all else forward thinking. I would hope to write and think like him and how this letter described his thoughts and concerns.
