When it comes to VOIP phones or phones in general, I do not do them. Why? Because they are so varied and the users are usually brutal with their phones and do not remember from day to day their phone activity to know when they changed their configuration, password, account, etc. Its just too sketchy to support.
However, I did just do three VOIP phones for a client who was moving and in a bind and I said, sure, I can do this. I did this like 7 years ago, on maximum full throttle for a call center, so why not.
It was Polycom VVX 201 connecting to Ring Central. Both of these technologies I had deep experience and expertise, both in their extensive technologies and the interplay with LAN WAN configuration, bandwidths, performance, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
This is my video and the rest is history.
