UPS, Power Protection headed into Fall / Winter times

As we head into Fall Winter time of year, make sure your UPS power protection is working just fine.
1. If you have it, check the battery and the connectors.
2. If you don't have UPS protection, get some.
3. If you are rolling the dice and just plugging into the wall outlet or power strip, well... just make sure you have backups in place, and verified.
When UPS power protection used in combination with backups, you are doing good and being smart.
Make sure your backups are verified and your software and hardware is clean and capacitors on the motherboards are in great shape.
