The Nevada Inventors Association (NIA)is an organization based on education, support and development of innovators. Andy Flagg is a member who supports the creation, business, marketing, and financial development of those in the organization. The NIA is a 501(c)(6) organization.

Andy Flagg just recently was accepted as a member and brother of the Reno Elks #597 and would like to follow in his father's and oldest brothers footsteps (BPOE #544 in Ashland Oregon) to become a better husband, community member of Reno Nevada, and citizen of the USA. In doing so, he will donate his time, resources and commitment to the betterment of Americanism, charity, and service.

Andy Flagg is also a Phi Delta Theta alumni member from his undergraduate days at the Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon Phi Delta Theta, Delta Chapter, and would like to honor and recognize that organization and commitment to the betterment of man, leadership, and community service and charity.

IT Advisory SubCommittee

Mountain Computers were identified and selected as a business advisory entity to provide valuable and positive input regarding information technology that would help the school district decide on what actions should be taken regarding IT fiscal budgeting and grant decisions. Andy's past activity has included School to Careers in Humboldt County, and other outlets of K-12 presentations on leadership both in Oregon and Nevada to help young adults understand the value of leadership, giving, helping, and knowledge sharing and helping your neighbor.

JoJo is a local Wooster High School Reno Nevada alumni class of 1976 where both of her daughters attended Sparks High School - the RailRoaders. Andy is a transplant from Ashland Oregon Senior HIgh School alumni class of 1984.

Veterans Administration

Rehabilitation & Training

Mountain Computers were selected by the VA Administration of Reno Nevada as a selected provider of computers for veterans based on the company's focus on providing the best in service. Andy himself is a US Army Veteran since 1997 serving the US Army since 1984 - 1st Infantry Division, 937th Engineer Group, Ft. Riley Kansas, as well as, the Oregon and Washington Army National Guard. Honorably Discharged in 1996.

What is amazing is JoJo's dad, Jo Seljan was a Korean War disabled veteran who worked and served the POW cause in the year President Clinton was in office and worked as a leader in the nation to raise the awareness and support the POW cause.

Washoe-Storey County Conservation District

Andy Flagg of Mountain Computers was nominated and appointed as a board supervisor in April 2007. His role is one of technology and the environment, but also his long history representing and treating nature, farming and agriculture in a positive nature through 9 years of 4-H service as a member and 3 years as a 4-H president. He previously served the Humboldt County Regional Planning Commission as a commissioner and chair from 1999 to 2001 where he was instrumental in guiding and overseeing the commission start the 20 year master planning process. JoJo is focused in on the environmental light and quiet factor of community within the environment with her 10 years of living and experience as a resident in June Lake California. Andy's passion and protection focus is on air, water, and land quality preservation and protection.

JoJo Flagg is a member of the Professional Sales Women of Nevada, an organization focused on a vision of professionalism in the sales industry.

The PSN Nevada mission is to attract the finest professional saleswomen in the community for the purpose of enhancing the profession of sales, furthering self-development and building a network of success-minded women sharing a common interest.

JoJo is a board member as the newsletter co-director where she receives, products and delivers the monthly organizational newsletter.


Support our Advanced Education

Mountain Computers team has been in the past and present actively involved in the betterment of students and educators through service bodies in both Oregon and Nevada. In Oregon, Andy's service started as a financial commissioner at the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT), an accredited school through the Oregon State System of Higher Education (OSSHE). He later was nominated and elected in as the Student Body President at OIT because of his service, daunting pursuit of truth and service to the college and community, and state. In doing so, he was nominated the elected as the Oregon Student Lobby chairman, serving the Oregon students and university student body presidents state-wide.

In Nevada, Andy has been instrumental in finding out ways to serve the K-12 and University system through his employment at the University of Nevada Reno as an IT support specialist and continuing his pursuit of serving students and professionals alike in professional development programs.
