Riley, Kansas - 1st Infantry Division / 34th Infantry Division, 937th Combat Engineer Group. At Ft. Leonardwood Basic Training, Andy was notified by the CO he was selected by the US Army to advance by appointment to West Point Military Academy because of his ASFAB military score (exceeded in the top 2% of the country, and in acuality 1% per the enlistment SSG). Andy politely reviewed and elected to complete his enlisted assignment as non-commissioned to earn the respect of the enlisted, and when appropriate move to the officer corp. At the end of his active duty enlistment in 1987, the choice was re-enlist and move to NCO or West Point, and he decided to move back to private sector and earn an engineering degree, yet his CO per the Army offered E4P Andy $30K to re-enlist and go to West Point. Andy thanked his CO for the offer and moved forward to OIT Computer Systems Engineering Degree (CSET), one of the most arduous and most difficult degrees to obtain, and in 4 years. Andy's mentor and most difficult professor, Mr. Calvin Caldwell was and continues to be an inspiration. Andy is and has been a Nevada resident since 1997, living in Winnemucca Nevada. 3D/2D Graphics Explored - Who helped Andy find computers as a career?
Paul Lutus is one of my idols, and guidance to computers. As a computer novice, I searched and found him as a computer genius tucked away in Oregon and invited him by letter to my Career Day in 10th Grade at Ashland High School Oregon. He replied and attended, and the shared with me his ideas of 3D graphics in a letter and with examples of 3D graphics. I still wish I had those letters and examples. Amazing! After attending AHS, he went to SOSC and spoke in front of hundreds on computer programmers, graphics and designers. I was there, standing in the top stages watching him speak in front of hundreds in awe. I just invited him to speak, and here he was in front of young undergraduates of what we now take for granted; graphics, 2D and 3D. Thank you Paul Lutus for coming to my high school nearly 30 years ago. To the best of my knowledge and searching, you are still sailing around the world. Feel free to call me. I want to say Thank you once again. ~Andy

Austrian German Heritage. Performed as a professional from 1991 to 2006 at IGT. Shortly thereafter, earned an MBA in 2006, and served at Mountain Computers in Marketing, Customer Service, and Internal Business Thinking, Ethics, Financial Operations, and Support Operations until 2007. She spent a year in Miami Beach, FL, too but then back to Orange County, all with her mother and father. Her father and name sake, Joseph A. Seljan, was a successful entrepreneur and were the reasons for the many moves around the world. However, there was a year of school at Wooster High School, to whom she holds her alma mater and High School Diploma. Moving back to San Diego, and attending some college and then graduating from Medical Assistant school, she married and moved to June Lake, CA where she started her family of two beautiful daughters. After living in June Lake for 10 years in 1990, she and her family moved to Reno. She and her two adults daughters live here in Reno, and in 2010 became a grandmother, and in 2012 will become a grandmother again. Blessing to all thank you. ~ JoJo
